Product Care Guide

Thank you for choosing Peach Cove House for your little trendsetters! Our clothing is crafted with care using high-quality spandex and nylon to ensure comfort, durability, and style. Follow these care instructions to keep them looking and feeling their best:

Washing Instructions:
- Turn leggings inside out before washing to protect the fabric to reduce friction with other garments and cause pilling.
- Use a gentle cycle with cold water to avoid stretching and preserve the fabric’s elasticity. Do not exceed 30 degrees.
- Wash with similar colors to prevent color transfer.

Detergent:
- Use a mild detergent without bleach or fabric softeners. Harsh chemicals can break down the fibers and affect the longevity of the fabric.

Drying:
- Lay flat to dry or hang them up. Avoid using a dryer, as high heat can damage the spandex and nylon fibers.
- Do not wring or twist the leggings to remove excess water. Instead, gently press out the water with a towel.

Avoiding Pilling:

Pilling occurs when fibers break and form small balls on the fabric’s surface. While pilling is an inevitable aspect of synthetic materials like spandex and nylon, you can minimize it by following these tips:

  - Wash leggings inside out to reduce friction with other garments.
  - Avoid washing with rough fabrics like towels or jeans that can cause abrasion.
  - Use a gentle cycle to minimize agitation (preferably a hand wash).

We have designed our clothing using a robust 250gms fabric instead of the usual 230gms. This means they are more durable for those little crawlers and toddlers still in nappies, as the abrasion can cause the fabric to pill quickly around the knee/ nappy area. To reduce pilling further, we recommend minimizing friction with hard, abrasive surfaces such as concrete ect.

3 Ways to Prevent Pilling - wikiHow Life

Ironing:
- We do not recommend to iron, but if ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and place a cloth over the leggings to protect the fabric. Avoid direct contact with the iron.

Storage:
- Store leggings in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging them for long periods, as this can stretch the fabric. Instead, fold them neatly to maintain their shape.

By following these care instructions, you’ll ensure your item/s remain soft, stretchy, and vibrant for all your little one's adventures. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our customer care team.
